"Acting for Film and TV"

The Hollywood Academy of Performing Arts is proud to present a professional online Tv & Film acting program developed to train actors in any location and at any time. The program is taught through personalized video conferences in our virtual classrooms.
The training is reinforced with reading material, exercises, homework, and performances that will be published on social media platforms such as YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Twitter.

Netflix Scene Study
​

Study your favorite Netflix shows and movies!
The entertainment industry has fully evolved into the virtual world. Actors are auditioning online via drive-ins and virtual rooms for major TV shows and movies shot in different parts of the world.
HAPA has developed a ten-month schedule for this new performing arts format on major networks and platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and Disney.
The students will have weekly self-tapes and audition assignments.
CLASS MODALITY
In the first part, the students will warm up the acting instrument with different techniques and exercises to develop naturalness in front of the camera.
The second part is scene work with the student selecting scenes from Netflix.

Script Writing Film & TV
The program teaches the student “the standard scriptwriting format” used in Hollywood productions, which is the language and terminology of producers, investors, studios, and well-known writers in the industry of Hollywood. This is essential to have a clean, organized, and marketable final screenplay.
We strongly believe that the students must learn the structure of film before breaking it apart and experimenting with their own storytelling.
